At Three Bears General Store, a deplorable roadside attraction in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, black bears, Daisy, River, and Dolly, are denied everything it means to be a bear. They spend their days on hard concrete, pacing back and forth, and begging tourists for food. They will never have the chance to feel grass beneath their feet, dig for food, or climb trees, unless they are sent to an accredited sanctuary.

Major companies like Simply Southern, Vera Bradley, BrüMate, Pura Vida, Tervis and Funko sell their merchandise at Three Bears General Store. Every product sold in the store contributes to the bears’ suffering.

Urge these companies to reconsider their relationship with Three Bears General Store until the owners agree to send the bears to an accredited sanctuary.

Three Bears General Store denies Daisy, River and Dolly everything it means to be a bear.

Bears are highly intelligent, complex animals who thrive in natural environments where they can exhibit normal behaviors, including digging dens, foraging for food, climbing trees, exploring large spaces, and hibernating in the winter. But at Three Bears General Store, they can’t do any of these things—instead, they are used as props for entertainment and are treated as if they are merchandise sold in the store.

Please do the right thing for the bears and your customers by reconsidering product sales at Three Bears General Store until the bears are sent to an accredited sanctuary. Thank you.
