Wells Fargo is offering SeaWorld discounts through its "My Wells Fargo Deals" program, encouraging customers to visit a company that has long profited from imprisoning dolphins, whales, and other marine mammals for entertainment. Despite knowing how deeply animals suffer at SeaWorld, the bank has chosen to continue promoting the abusement park.

Animals at SeaWorld are crammed into barren concrete tanks, forced to perform, and sometimes given anti-anxiety drugs to combat the stress of extreme captivity. To keep its tanks stocked, SeaWorld breeds dolphins and whales, tearing female dolphins from the water and sometimes drugging them before forcibly impregnating them. In nature, these intelligent, social animals choose their own companions, raise their young in the ocean, and travel freely, yet SeaWorld treats them as commodities to be bred, touched, and grabbed by the public, and forced to perform tricks.
Nearly every company that had supported SeaWorld—including JetBlue, Mattel, Mott’s, Southwest Airlines, STA Travel, and Taco Bell—has severed ties with the abusement park. Please use the form below to urge Wells Fargo to reconsider its future affiliation with the company.
