Sony Pictures Entertainment is partnering with SeaWorld to bring I Know What You Did Last Summer and Hotel Transylvania to its Halloween events, helping SeaWorld turn real-life horror for animals into Halloween entertainment. While the scares in these films are fictional, the suffering of the dolphins, whales, and other marine mammals trapped at SeaWorld is real. By allowing its franchises to be featured at SeaWorld, Sony is helping prop up a company that abuses animals.

For dolphins, whales, and other marine mammals imprisoned at SeaWorld, there's no escape from this nightmare. The animals are crammed into barren concrete tanks, forced to perform, and sometimes given anti-anxiety drugs to combat the stress of extreme captivity. To keep its tanks stocked, SeaWorld breeds dolphins and whales, tearing female dolphins from the water and sometimes drugging them before forcibly impregnating them. SeaWorld traps them in a never-ending horror story of confinement, exploitation, and stress.
Public opposition to marine mammal captivity has prompted more than 100 companies to cut ties with the abusement park. Please use the form below to urge Sony to reconsider future partnerships with SeaWorld.
