Tell Travel Company TUI to Stop Supporting Abuse of Orcas, Other Dolphins

UN LAB Middleware Label: Title Ends

At SeaWorld, orcas live in cramped concrete tanks. With no physical, mental, or emotional stimulation, they spend their days swimming in endless circles. Despite being fully aware of SeaWorld's cruel treatment of animals, travel company TUI—formerly known as Thomson Holidays—continues to sell tickets to the abusement park.

More than 40 orcas have died at SeaWorld—many far short of their natural life expectancies—from causes such as bacterial infections and fractured skulls. Hundreds of other dolphins, whales, and other animals have died at the parks, too.

Dolphins at SeaWorld are often housed in incompatible groups, 140 of them in just seven tanks, and because of their cramped enclosures, they're unable to escape attacks from other frustrated, aggressive dolphins.

Dozens of businesses—including Booking.com, TripAdvisor, and Virgin Holidays—have already severed ties with the abusement park. Please urge TUI to end its partnership with SeaWorld!
