Megu the Elephant Suffers From Cracking Joints—Take Action Now!

UN LAB Middleware Label: Title Ends

Loomis Bros. Circus is slated to take its cruel animal act on the road throughout Alabama, even though Brian Franzen—its elephant and tiger exhibitor—has a well-documented history of animal abuse.

While onstage, Franzen was filmed striking an elephant named Megu in the jaw with a bullhook—a weapon so vile that it's been banned in two states and many cities. According to federal inspectors, he also failed to notice that Megu had an abnormal gait and cracking joints, and an expert wrote that forcing her to perform in circus shows was causing her "undue and unnecessary physical distress."

Please tell venues planning to host this circus to nix the cruel animal acts!
