I understand that you've previously purchased animals from Bio Corporation, a company that sells animals slated for classroom dissection to schools and school districts. I was horrified to learn that a PETA eyewitness investigation at Bio Corporation found that pigeons packed into crates were drowned in tubs of water, live crayfish were injected with liquid latex, and workers boasted that frozen turtles came "back to life" and were refrozen while fully conscious.

The time to end animal dissection is now. With so many superior digital-dissection software programs available—which are preferred by students, save animals' lives, and are cheaper—there's no justification for continuing to cut up the bodies of abused animals. In fact, in nearly every comparative study ever published, students taught using non-animal methods tested as well as or better than their peers whose instruction included animal-based exercises.

I hope that based on this information, you have begun to take meaningful steps to end the cruel practice of dissecting animals. The dissection industry is violent, and no matter where the animals come from, dissecting them is unnecessary and cruel.
