After decades of urging from PETA, McDonald’s finally offered its first vegan meat option: the McPlant burger, featuring a vegan patty developed with the help of Beyond Meat. The McPlant was market-tested at 600 locations in the San Francisco and Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas, areas. This is exciting progress, but we can’t stop there.

Now, we must show McDonald’s the huge demand for vegan options so that it will make the McPlant a permanent fixture at all its locations across the U.S.
