Right now in towns and cities across India, bullocks and other working animals are trudging along in the heat, straining to pull overloaded, poorly balanced carts while suffering from dehydration, untreated sores, and muscle strain—and even getting beaten.

Animal Rahat was founded to alleviate the misery of these animals. This wonderful program has been offering relief to the many bullocks, elephants, dogs, and other animals in India who often desperately need its help.

An exhausted bullock struggles under the weight of a heavy cart. The yoke digs into his neck, rubbing it raw and forming a football-size blister. The sharp sting of his owner’s whip across his back reminds him not to stop or more blows will come. A pony feels the forceful yank of the reins, and the connected sharp (illegal) bit shoved into her mouth painfully stabs into her tongue and cheeks.

Thousands of animals are about to embark on one of the most grueling journeys of their lives—a days-long journey to and from the Chinchali Goddess Festival.

Bank Routing & Account Numbers

To make a payment directly from your U.S. bank account, you will need to provide the routing number for your bank, as well as your account number. Both of these numbers can be found at the bottom of a check issued for your bank account.

At the bottom of your check you will find three numbers - the routing number which is always 9 digits long for U.S. banks, the account number which can be up to 17 digits long, and the check number which will match the number found in the upper right corner of the check. These sets of numbers can appear in a variety of orders on your check. However, you will always find the routing number surrounded by this symbol ACH Routing Symbol, and the account number will always be to the left of this symbol ACH Account Symbol.
