Following Pressure From PETA, Coca-Cola Ends Iditarod Sponsorship!

After fierce campaigning by PETA—including protests outside Coca-Cola’s headquarters and its annual meeting as well as e-mails from more than 205,000 of our members and supporters—the company ended its sponsorship of the Iditarod, which has killed more than 150 dogs since it began. Coca-Cola joins Costco, Jack Daniel’s, Maxwell House, Pizza Hut, Rite-Aid, Safeway, State Farm, and Wells Fargo in cutting ties with the deadly race. Urge Millennium Hotels and Resorts to be next!
