Tell Groupon to Sever Ties With SeaWorld and Its Animal Abuse

UN LAB Middleware Label: Title Ends

No bottlenose dolphins would ever choose to be sexually abused and forced to give birth, and no orcas would ever choose to live somewhere that causes them so much stress that they chew on the concrete sides of their tanks—but that’s exactly what these animals are subjected to at SeaWorld. Over 100 businesses have turned away from the park, but Groupon continues to support this abuse by selling discounted tickets. Please join PETA in urging Groupon to sever ties with SeaWorld.

In SeaWorld’s cruel breeding program, unwilling female dolphins are torn out of the water and sometimes drugged so they can’t fight back while staff shove tubes filled with semen into their uteruses. Some animals have been repeatedly impregnated, only to lose their babies. The babies who survive are doomed to languish in tiny tanks.

In the ocean, orcas and other dolphins travel vast distances every day, weaving through kelp forests, feeling the pull of the currents, enjoying the breeze at the surface, diving deep to shield themselves from the sun, and choosing where they want to go. At SeaWorld, their scenery consists of the concrete walls of their tanks and they have few choices besides whether to float listlessly or swim in circles.

Please use the form below to urge Groupon’s CEO to stop selling tickets to SeaWorld.
