Send an Emergency Relief Package to an Animal in Crisis This Winter—Your Gift Will Be TRIPLED!

PETA-supported rescue teams are on the ground in Ukraine and other countries providing vital care to dogs, cats, horses, and other animals caught in the crossfire of war, abandoned amid natural disasters, or struggling to survive on the streets. They must reach these animals as soon as possible, bringing them the food, veterinary care, and shelter they need to survive the months ahead.

When Kharkiv was under relentless attack, a PETA-supported team rushed to move 850 animals to a safer location. This sanctuary is home to donkeys, dogs, horses, goats, chickens, and others who have been rescued from the frontlines, and caretakers need your help to continue turning an old, abandoned dairy farm into a safe haven for these animals.

Today only, your gift will be matched to have TRIPLE the impact, up to $50,000! That means when you buy one emergency relief package, you’ll send three packages to help animals.

Bank Routing & Account Numbers

To make a payment directly from your U.S. bank account, you will need to provide the routing number for your bank, as well as your account number. Both of these numbers can be found at the bottom of a check issued for your bank account.

At the bottom of your check you will find three numbers - the routing number which is always 9 digits long for U.S. banks, the account number which can be up to 17 digits long, and the check number which will match the number found in the upper right corner of the check. These sets of numbers can appear in a variety of orders on your check. However, you will always find the routing number surrounded by this symbol ACH Routing Symbol, and the account number will always be to the left of this symbol ACH Account Symbol.

Please use the image below for an example of how your routing and account numbers may appear on your check.

Sample Check:

The routing number comes first and is surrounded by the ACH Routing Symbol symbol, the account number comes next and is followed by the ACH Account Symbol symbol.

The CVV2 is shown as 3 digits after the credit card number on the back of the card.

How can an emergency relief package make a life-changing difference for an animal?

PETA’s Global Compassion Fund is helping animals in areas devastated by war, disaster, and other tragedies by powering rescue teams, sanctuaries, and caretakers.

You can build a customized emergency relief package to help animals in Ukraine, Jordan, Mexico, and other countries. You’ll deliver food, medication, and other critical care.

Britney Before

Britney was cowering in an old barn—hiding from the intense gunfire of a Russian assault in Eastern Ukraine—when PETA-supported rescuers swooped in and saved her. She was also suffering from a severe tick-borne illness that left her so frail and listless she was unable to eat and could barely lift her head.

Britney After

Thanks to the care and rehabilitation provided by a PETA-supported clinic, Britney is now eating, walking, and well on the road to a better life!

Inna’s home was near the frontlines of the war in Ukraine, and she and the 20 animals in her care were in constant danger from bombardments. When Inna asked the PETA-supported Animal Rescue Kharkiv (ARK) team for help, they jumped into action, evacuating Inna and her companion animals amidst intense tank shelling and drone surveillance. Inna and her dogs are now safe, but right now, so many others still need our help. Will you donate an emergency relief package today to help deliver food, shelter, and lifesaving veterinary care? Remember, your donation today will be matched—so when you give one emergency relief package, you will actually send three packages to animals who need your help!

How PETA-supported teams have saved and transformed the lives of animals in Ukraine since the onset of the war:

  • They’ve rescued more than 16,500 dogs, cats, horses, goats, sheep, pigs, and others, losing three vehicles to bombs in the process.
  • Despite almost insurmountable obstacles, they’ve delivered more than 3.5 million pounds of food and other provisions to animals in desperate circumstances.
  • They’ve reunited 60% of rescued animals with their guardians—who had been forced to flee their homes—and transported the remaining 40% to partner shelters in Europe for adoption.
  • PETA’s Global Compassion Fund helped establish a veterinary clinic, where up to 130 seriously injured and ill animals are operated on and given the best possible care every day.
  • More than 80 PETA-supported employees work on site providing care for rescued animals and rescuing an additional 50 to 70 animals each day.

PETA’s Global Compassion Fund is supported exclusively by the contributions of kind individuals like you. Please help us reach animals who are still waiting for our help. Donate an emergency relief package today, and it could save a life.

Thanks to a generous group of donors supporting PETA's work, an additional gift of $75 will be made to benefit our Investigations & Rescue Fund for each new monthly donor who gives via this form until December 31, 2024, or until the $75,000 campaign goal is met. Donations made after the goal has been met will not qualify for the extra $75 gift, but they'll still make a tremendous difference to animals.

We’ve set a deadline of December 20 to raise $50,000 in PETA’s Holiday Giving Challenge. Gifts made after that date or after our goal has been met won’t unlock additional funds, but they’ll still make a tremendous difference to animals.

All funds donated through virtual aid packages will go to PETA’s Global Compassion Fund to help animals in Ukraine and elsewhere.
