Help Pittsburgh Go Fur-Free: Urge This Retailer to Stop Selling Fur!

UN LAB Middleware Label: Title Ends

Roberta Weissburg Leathers is the last store in Pittsburgh that is still profiting from the violent fur trade despite widespread opposition and a growing movement to ban the sale of fur. It’s time for this Steel City holdout to ditch fur!

Foxes are intelligent members of the dog family. When pups are born, they are blind, deaf, and entirely dependent on their devoted mothers, who care for and protect them. But foxes on fur factory farms are denied the opportunity to care for their young. On a fur factory farm in Norway, investigators found six fox cubs confined to a cage with their dead and rotting mother. On fur factory farms, animals go insane from confinement to cramped, filthy cages before they’re gassed, electrocuted, their necks broken, or they’re even skinned alive.

This cruelty is exactly why hundreds of major designers and retailers—including Calvin Klein, Chanel, Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci, Michael Kors, Valentino, and Versace—have already dropped fur.

Whether it’s a coat collar or cuff, if you buy products made with fur, you’re supporting an industry that abuses and kills animals. Please help animals suffering right now by urging Roberta Weissburg Leathers to stop selling fur!
