The holidays should be a time for kindness and compassion, but Radio City Music Hall subjects camels, sheep, and donkeys to months of confinement and stress as they’re forced to perform in the Christmas Spectacular’s live Nativity scene. Despite knowing how animals are mistreated for this show, Chase, Lexus, and Verizon continue to support it.

Animals are kept at an unaccredited facility when not confined to Radio City.

The animals used in the Christmas Spectacular would never choose to be hauled to New York City, dragged through a theater, and stashed backstage like props. Camels, sheep, and donkeys are all gentle herd animals with strong social bonds, who should have fresh air and space to roam. Instead, Radio City forces them to endure the loud noises, bright lights, and strange surroundings of a stage production—all of which can be highly stressful for these animals.
The Christmas Spectacular already features the immensely talented Rockettes and thrilling special effects. Live animals have no place in the show, and the companies sponsoring the production need to take a stand against this cruelty.
Please use the form below to urge Chase, Lexus, and Verizon not to work with the Christmas Spectacular unless it stops using animals.
