Join us for engaging, community-focused workshops to introduce PETA’s free Companion Animal Grief Support Program—a toolkit to help anyone navigate the anguish of losing a beloved animal.
Through supportive group discussion, practical tools, and faith-based guidance, participants will explore ways to honor their animal friends, and work through their grief with care, compassion, and hope. Attendees will receive free digital resources (including workbooks and leader guides) with prompts and activities designed to foster healing and remembrance in a welcoming space. Whether you’re seeking support for yourself or looking for tools to comfort others, you’ll be sure to leave this workshop with tangible and uplifting next steps.
After a complimentary lunch, we’ll shift to our second workshop, focusing on practical planning to help ensure your companion animals are cared for in the event of an emergency or a loss. We will guide attendees through PETA’s Companion Animal Planning Packet, which includes simple advice for creating emergency contacts, preparing care instructions, designating a guardian, and other necessities. This session is especially helpful for seniors, service coordinators, and families looking for peace of mind.
