Thank NIH for Sparing Monkeys, Choosing Good Science

UN LAB Middleware Label: Title Ends

Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) board of directors has passed a landmark resolution authorizing negotiations with the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to end experiments on monkeys and transition the federally funded Oregon National Primate Center to a sanctuary for the more than 5,000 monkeys it now holds. This follows sustained pressure from PETA, the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM), Oregon legislators, Governor Tina Kotek, and tens of thousands of PETA supporters like you.

Please take a moment to thank NIH for its leadership. It’s crucial that the agency knows that we appreciate its work to move away from experiments, take care of the monkeys now caged at the primate center, and implement better research methods.

After you take action, you’ll see an easy way to share this information. Please ask five friends or relatives to support this campaign!
