Fashion Shouldn’t REVOLVE Around Cruelty: Urge REVOLVE To Drop Angora

UN LAB Middleware Label: Title Ends

E-commerce retailer REVOLVE continues to sell sweaters, shorts, and cardigans made from angora, even after hearing from PETA about the immense suffering behind the production of angora. Rabbits used for angora are tortured every few months when workers pin them down and tear out their hair by hand as the animals scream in fear. Others freeze in terror as they are violently shorn.

When workers aren’t stealing angora rabbits’ hair, the animals are confined to cramped, filthy cages where they’re deprived of everything natural and important to them. Many die from illness or injury, and those who survive are eventually hung upside down and have their throats slit once they stop producing profitable hair.

The good news is that many are rejecting this cruelty. More than 500 brands have already banned angora, proving that fashion does not have to involve suffering. It is time for REVOLVE to join the list.

Use the action form below to urge REVOLVE to stop selling angora.
